This was discussed at an emergency meeting of related organizations held at 10 am today, presided over by Prime Minister Chung Sye-gyun at the Seoul Government Complex.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Jung, Justice Minister Park Bum-gye, Minister of Public Administration and Security Jeon Jeon-cheol, Police Commissioner Kim Chang-ryong, and Acting Prosecutor General Nam-gwan Cho.

At this meeting, Prime Minister Chung explained the government’s serious awareness of the LH speculation suspicion, saying that it is a serious issue that cannot allow even a little laxity as public interest and resentment have been concentrated.

At the same time, he mentioned that it was the public’s request to disclose the case of speculation by public officials as soon as possible and to pay a reasonable price, and emphasized the importance of cooperation with speculation for this purpose.
