North Korean leader Kim Jong-un emphasized solidarity between socialist countries by sending an unusual oral letter to the top leaders of Cuba, Vietnam and Laos following China.

The Chosun Central News Agency reported that today, Chairman Kim Jong-un sent a verbal letter to Raul Castro, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Tong, and Laos Prime Minister Tongrun Sisullit, delivering the contents of the 8th Labor Party Congress in January. .

In his oral letter, Chairman Kim commented in detail on the discussion and decision on policy positions related to strengthening national defense power, North-South relations, and US-North Korea relations.

It is considered quite unusual for North Korea to convey the results of the party congress in the form of verbal letters one after another to the top leaders of socialist countries.

Chairman Kim stressed to Cuban Communist Party First Secretary Castro, “the party’s will to develop a ties of strategic and comradely unity and cooperation with Cuba and to boldly develop a joint anti-imperialist struggle.”

In addition, in an oral letter to the President of Vietnam, he expressed that he will continue to strengthen and develop the traditional friendly and cooperative relations with Vietnam in the midst of the struggle for the victory of the socialist feat.

He also reaffirmed the Lao Prime Minister’s “will to expand and develop a comradely and fraternal friendly and cooperative relationship with Laos in the midst of the struggle for the victory of the socialist feat.”

On the 22nd, Chairman Kim previously exchanged oral correspondence with Chinese President Xi Jinping, saying that we will strengthen unity between North Korea and China in response to challenges and interference from hostile forces.

North Korea’s successive movement appears to be a stepping stone to escape from diplomatic isolation by strengthening solidarity with socialist countries in preparation for the pressure of the US administration on North Korea by Biden.
