Seoul Mayor’s by-election was held due to the sexual harassment of the late Mayor Park Won-soon.

The term of office for the next mayor is about one year and three months, the remaining term of the former mayor.

However, if you look at the pledges of Democratic Party candidate Park Young-sun and People’s Power Candidate Se-hoon Oh, it is difficult to see it as a pledge of the mayor with a one-year term.

Candidate Park made a long-term pledge, such as a ’21-minute compact city’, a vertical garden, and supply of 300,000 public housing units.

Candidate Se-Hoon Oh also proposed not only supplying 360,000 units to the private sector, but also easing the floor area ratio, which required amendments to ordinances or laws, and making local taxation of the taxation tax.

For this reason, all of them have taken ‘5 years’ as the criterion for realizing their pledges, not 1 year.
