[앵커]

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun proposed a specific plan, saying that small business owners who suffered losses from corona 19 quarantine measures such as business restrictions should be compensated based on sales profits without retroactive application.

In addition, while the Democratic Party was also preparing a bill, discussions between the party governments began in earnest.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, who has emphasized compensation for losses of small business owners due to business restrictions or bans, has repeatedly revealed concrete plans.

Prime Minister Chung said that sales profit minus cost from sales should be the basis for compensation.

Then, they refuted that some claims that 100 trillion won is needed as the amount of financial resources is reduced compared to the amount of sales based on sales, as not true.

It was also clarified that it was not retroactively applying even the current business restrictions or bans.

In addition, the Democratic Party also encountered difficulties in the field by meeting officials at facilities with restricted operations.

In addition, TF meetings and general assembly meetings were held one after another to discuss the loss compensation law.

In addition to Corona 19, if damage is caused by business restrictions or bans in a disaster situation in the future, a certain ratio will be differentially compensated according to the size of existing profits, and plans to provide flat-rate support for small self-employed people who have difficulty calculating sales are discussed.

Currently, the plan is to provide disaster support to small businesses that have suffered damage, and there is a prospect that the fourth disaster support fund will be 20 trillion won by combining such selective support and universal payment.

In the midst of this, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun focused on a plan to compensate for the loss of small business owners with party officials at the’Thursday Dialogue’ held at the Prime Minister’s mission.

As the party government began debating in earnest with the goal of handling the extraordinary National Assembly in February, the Loss Compensation Act is expected to reveal concrete features sooner or later.
