As the by-election in April approaches, Busan’s public sentiment is increasingly focused on the influential candidates.

When YTN and Busan Ilbo examined Busan’s public sentiment, former professor Park Hyung-jun, the power of the people, still showed the most advanced approval rating.

Former Professor Park Hyung-joon was also found to be superior in a virtual bilateral confrontation with former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Kim Young-chun of the Democratic Party, who appeared as number one in the pan-passport.

We asked who is the most suitable among the people who are being run for the Busan mayor by-election.

Prof. Hyung-Jun Park, a preliminary candidate for the people’s strength, recorded 28%, maintaining the leading position outside the margin of error.

Next, Kim Young-chun, former Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, a member of the Democratic Party, is pursuing 15.3%.

Both former Professor Park Hyung-joon and former Minister Kim Young-chun have increased their approval ratings compared to the first survey conducted at the end of last year, revealing a trend toward widening the gap with latecomers.

When asked who is the most suitable candidate for the Democratic Party, former Minister Kim Young-chun was 25.6%, and Byun Seong-wan, former Busan Mayor’s acting agency, more than doubled.

In terms of the fit of the candidates for the power of the people, Hyung-jun Park was 34.2%, and Lee Eon-ju was also more than doubled.

When we put together a virtual confrontation between the Democratic Party and the People’s Strength candidates, the people’s strength candidates were different.

When the Democratic Party Kim Young-chun and Park Hyeong-jun, the power of the people, faced each other, former professor Park Hyeong-jun was 42.5%, defeating former Minister Kim Young-chun, who was only 28%.
