We urge all public officials across the country to be faithful to their responsibilities before planting.

At the end of last year, the government completed a total of 56 million COVID-19 vaccine contracts.

This is enough for all citizens to receive vaccination.

The timing of introduction of the contracted vaccine is also gradually being confirmed, so it is a critical time to prepare detailed vaccination plans in advance.

Major countries in the United States and Europe have already started vaccination three weeks ago, but there are reports that the vaccination is not speeding up properly due to insufficient preparation.

There is even such a concern that large quantities of vaccines may have expired and need to be discarded.

This should never happen to our vaccinations, which will begin as early as next month.

From the moment the vaccine arrives, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention must prepare the entire process such as delivery, storage, vaccination, and follow-up management.

We urge you to actively cooperate with the Ministry of Welfare, Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the National Assistance Office, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, which are related departments of the government, so that there is no disruption in preparation.

Until the end of this month, that is, until January 31st, please carefully prepare and complete the vaccination plan, and please inform the public of the progress from time to time.

Tomorrow is said to be the coldest of the year.

In particular, the use of heaters is expected to increase as the subzero cold is forecast throughout this week.

When looking at the results of epidemiological investigations on correctional facilities or nursing homes for the elderly, where a large-scale group infection has occurred recently, the so-called 3 dense environment, which is dense, sealed, and close, is pointed out as a major factor.

In particular, in winter, it is inevitable to use a heater, and ventilation is often not possible due to cold weather.
