Since this week, as the quarantine standards have been eased, many places have reopened, but they are still complaining of difficulties.

There are loud voices asking for the door to be reopened in entertainment facilities that are still not open.

The government is well aware of the feelings of self-employed and small business owners who have already reached their limits as Corona 19 continues for more than a year.

The entertainment industry, which had to be closed for a longer period of time, will suffer severely.

Last year, the government organized four additional administrations, and this year, it has been providing customized damage support since the beginning of the year, but there are many things that are not enough to completely heal the pain.

We also agree with the point that the government can not only continue to force self-employed and small business owners to sacrifice while banning or restricting business from time to time for quarantine.

In addition, there is no guarantee that even if Corona 19 is ended, similar new infectious diseases will no longer occur in the future.

Now, I think it is time to review the measures to institutionalize them, and appropriate support is needed for those who have not been able to do business properly due to the quarantine standards set by the government.

The National Assembly has already proposed laws to compensate or support operating losses caused by quarantine measures, regardless of the opposition parties.

Relevant ministries, such as the Ministry of Technology, gather wisdom together with the National Assembly to improve the legal system.

In the face of the crisis, the government is doing its best to minimize the damage to the people, but in the end, the fundamental solution is to suppress the third outbreak.

The government will do its utmost to prevent quarantine so that a certain level of stability can be achieved as soon as possible.

I sincerely ask the people to join the quarantine with the belief that a body of hope will surely come.

Yesterday, the government announced the progress of purchasing an additional 20 million doses of NovaVax vaccine.

If a contract is signed, it is possible to reduce uncertainty by securing a variety of vaccines, and domestic companies are expected to produce and supply vaccines stably through technology transfer.

In order for the NovaVax vaccine to work smoothly until the final vaccination, a series of follow-up measures, such as approving the production facility and permitting the use of the vaccine, must take place quickly.

We hope that related ministries, such as the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, actively participate.

It is a little slower than overseas, but our company’s efforts to develop domestic vaccines are also continuing.

In order not to waste the efforts we fought against Corona 19, we must use the current crisis as an opportunity to secure vaccine sovereignty.

If we take this opportunity to create a vaccine ourselves, our ability to respond to infectious diseases will also be enhanced.

The government will support until the end.
