‘Lecture 1 (Hyungjun Park) 2nd (Eonju Lee, Youngchun Kim)’

This is the result of the’Busan Mayor’s Candidate Suitability Survey’ commissioned by Real Meter on the D-100 day of the Busan Mayor’s by-election next year. Three companies, including the 〈Busan Ilbo〉, conducted a public opinion survey on 1028 Busan citizens over the age of 18 on the 22nd and 23rd.

As a result of the survey on the fit of the entire Busan market, Professor Park Hyung-joon of Dong-A University, the power of the people, pushed the second-place candidate out of the margin of error with a 27.4% approval rating and took the first place. The power of the people Lee Eon-ju (13.0%) and former lawmaker Kim Young-chun (11.2%), the secretary-general of the National Assembly, ranked second to third. Overall, there is a composition of’first lecture, two fold’. Following these, former lawmaker Lee Jin-bok (4.7%), Byeon Seong-wan (4.6%), acting mayor of Busan, and Choi Ji-eun (4.6%), as well as the Democratic Party’s international spokesman, ranked 4th to 6th. Next, Jaejoong Yoo (2.5%), former lawmaker Park Minsik (1.9%), former lawmaker Gyujae (1.7%), Chairman of the Founding Party of the Reform and Freedom Association, Jeonghyun Roh (1.4%), chairman of the Progressive Party Busan City Party, and Inyoung Park (0.8%), former chairman of the Busan City Council. And Seong-ha Jeon (0.2%), chairman of the Bible Welfare Foundation, a social welfare corporation.

Lee Eon-joo and Kim Young-chun bridge the big gap

Hyung-Jun Park ranked 1st in generation, gender, region, etc.

Western countries, over 60, self-employed high support

Despite low support for President Moon and Democrats

Young-Chun Kim, gaining support from 29.0% of the progressives’Attention’

Prof. Hyung-Jun Park, the number one in the survey, was the westerners (31.3%), 60 years old and older (37.2%), conservatives (39.2%), self-employed (33.9%), people’s power (52.1%) and the people’s party (39.5%) , And the negative evaluation of state administration (39.1%) recorded a higher approval rate than the average. Former lawmaker Lee Eon-ju, who ranked second in the people’s strength, was relatively high in support from the conservative group (19.9%) and the people’s strength support group (20.7%). The third place, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Kim Young-chun, received relatively high support from the 50s (19.1%), the progressives (29.0%), the Democratic Party supporters (34.3%), and the positive evaluation group (30.7%).

The biggest feature of this survey result is Professor Park Hyung-jun’s overwhelming advantage. He ranked first in almost all fields, including age, generation, gender, region, and occupation. Professor Park ranked first in all four areas in Busan, including the West, Midwest, Middle East, and East, and started at 18-29 years old and also ran at the top in his 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s and older. In their 40s (28.8%) and 50s (30.8%), who have strong propensity to progress, the point that it ranked first outside the margin of error attracts attention.

Professor Park was more than double the second place candidate for both men (32.3%) and women (22.7%). In a survey of supporters of the people’s strength, Professor Park was 52.1%, far ahead of former lawmaker Lee (20.7%), who was second in the ranking.

It is also eye-catching that the secretary-general of the National Assembly, Kim Young-chun, who has a pan-passport, is doing well despite the low support from President Moon Jae-in and the Democratic Party. President Kim ranked second after Professor Park with a 13.3% approval rate in the Middle East by region, and the second highest approval rate by age group in their 30s (10.0%) 40s (12.7%) 50s (19.1%). Showed. President Kim’s support rate was somewhat low among men, but among women, 11.5% of the same as former lawmaker Lee Eon-ju was recorded. Prof. Park (7.8%) in the progressive respondents showed a much higher 29.0% approval rating than former lawmakers (7.0%), and in particular, Democratic supporters (34.3%) outperformed other pan-passport candidates.

This survey was conducted in a random sampling method (wireless 70% + wired 30%) within virtual number and wired RDD sample frames, with an 8.3% response rate and a sampling error of ±3.1%P with a 95% confidence level.
