Forest officials said the fire had been extinguished at around 4:15 a.m. today, five hours after the fire broke out.
After a while, six extinguishing helicopters will be put in at around 7:30 a.m., and it is expected that the remaining lights will be cleaned up in earnest.

A fire from a warehouse in Sacheon-ri, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, was blown by strong winds and spread to nearby mountains.
