Currently, the sudden change warning, strong wind, low visibility warning, and heavy snow warning are in effect at Jeju Airport.

Due to the weather conditions in other regions, more than 70 departing and arriving flights have been canceled, which is close to half of the scheduled flights today.

There is a lot of snow forecast from tonight to tomorrow morning, and it is expected that aircraft operation will be disrupted until tomorrow.

In Jeju, cold wave warnings and heavy snow warnings are in effect in mountainous areas, and heavy snow warnings are in effect in places excluding mountains.

As of 10:00 am, 15cm of snow accumulated on Eorimok of Hallasan and 1~3cm of snow in the coastal area.

Vehicles are controlled on major roads in the mountains, including Hallasan Mountain.

There are places along the coast and in Jeju City that have fallen into snow and have turned into ice due to low temperatures.

Because of this, cars that cannot winterize are running turtles.

On the way home from work, there will be many frozen roads, so it is safe to use public transportation.

It is predicted that there will be 50cm more snow in Jeju, the day after tomorrow, in many mountainous areas and 5-15cm in coastal areas.

The cold wave is also painful.
