In Sokcho, Gangwon-do, the aftermath of a chain infection continues, right?

Yes, 7 confirmed cases were added yesterday in the Sokcho area.

As a result, the number of cumulative confirmed cases in Sokcho from the 12th to the present has exceeded 60.

Posture correction exercise facilities, day care centers, and Zumba dance academies have been linked to a chain infection.

There were also three confirmed cases in nearby Goseong, and it took an emergency to block the spread of infection in neighboring areas.

Sokcho City has increased the social distancing from today from 1.5 to 2 in order to break the link of proliferation.

In particular, due to the nature of the region as a tourist destination, there is great concern that cross-infection between regions will spread if tourists crowd this weekend.

The city of Sokcho has doubled the number of autonomous quarantine teams, strengthening disinfection centering on major tourist spots, and checking whether the quarantine guidelines are followed.

Yes, 8 new confirmed cases were added in Geoje, Gyeongnam.

All of them were identified as confirmed cases related to the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard where the group infection occurred earlier.

In Tongyeong, three people who came into contact with confirmed cases related to the Geoje shipyard were tested positive.

The quarantine authorities decided to inspect 2,500 users of the shipyard building’s restaurant and shower stall where the confirmed case was found.

As confirmed cases related to entertainment establishments followed, Geoje City has upgraded its social distancing from yesterday to the second stage.

In Ulsan, there were 7 additional confirmed cases related to Hero Spa today, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to 62.

The quarantine authorities said that this weekend is expected to be a culmination of the spread of the infection, and asked to refrain from using group facilities and gatherings.
