There were 15 new confirmed cases in Busan today, the largest number among non-metropolitan areas following yesterday.

By type, a diagnostic test revealed that 7 co-workers of Busan patient 3221, who was confirmed yesterday, were infected.

Two additional family members of the confirmed person with unknown infection route were also confirmed, and cases of serial infection, such as infection through acquaintances, are steadily appearing, leading to unsafe situations.

In Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, 6 confirmed cases were added within one day.

After a foreign worker working in a chicken processing plant was confirmed yesterday, two families were also found to be infected.

Two more confirmed patients were added before self-isolation was lifted at a duck processing plant in this area where the outbreak of mass infection occurred, and two more cases of mart infections.

In Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, five confirmed cases were added today at fitness centers where group infections appeared, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to 49.

In Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, two additional confirmed cases related to the Asan plant of the cricket boiler were added, and they were found to be the family of employees of the company.

In Gwangju, four additional confirmed cases related to insurance company call centers were added, and the number of confirmed cases is 62.

In Daegu and Gyeongbuk, the number of confirmed cases increased by 10 and 13, respectively, and it appears to be a community infection, including college student meetings.
