Former Busan Mayor Oh Geo-don, who resigned from the mayor’s office after admitting the harassment of his subordinates, was handed over to formal trial after nine months of resignation.

After nine months of investigation, the prosecution handed the Mayor Oh to a formal trial.

The prosecution pointed out that the incident was a power-type sexual crime committed against female employees, and that the city’s sexual violence response system was not working properly.

The prosecution applied the charges of innocence to the case where the Mayor Oh accused Internet broadcasters of defaming his reputation, saying it was a false accusation.

The prosecution, who investigated the suspicion that the former mayor had coordinated with the Blue House over the timing of his resignation, issued an unprosecution, saying that no circumstances or evidence were found.
