Let’s start with the news of a church in Busan that was ordered to close while conducting a face-to-face service.
Your application for temporary injunction for suspension of execution filed by the church was dismissed?
[기자]
Yes, they are Busan Seegero Church and West Church, which were ordered to close from local governments on the 11th.
The court rejected a request for provisional injunction yesterday that the two churches had violated religious freedom and asked to suspend the order to close.
The judge concluded that “The ban on face-to-face worship is unlikely to be a violation of the nature of religious freedom by limiting only the places and methods of worship.”
He also pointed out, “Even if the church minimizes face-to-face contact, it is practically difficult to fundamentally block the congregation’s accidental deviation from quarantine.”
Previously, the Saegero Church and the Western Church held a face-to-face worship service with 1,000 and 500 people gathered on the 10th, respectively, despite the prosecution and order to suspend operation by local governments.
The church is strongly opposed to the decision to dismiss the court.
Seegero Church plans to conduct face-to-face worship in the plaza in front of the church along with administrative lawsuits, so conflict with the quarantine authorities is expected to continue.

The number of confirmed cases related to the BTJ World Center exceeded 700. How are the quarantine measures going?
[기자]
Yes, as of yesterday, 729 people were all confirmed related to the Nation Center.
Of the 3,000 test subjects, nearly 40% of the 1,100 people have not yet been tested.
As a result, pressure from quarantine authorities and investigative agencies to stop the spread continues.
The quarantine authorities cut off contact and said that they would conduct an inspection even by tracking the location of those who were hidden.
Two managers of the Center for the Nations have been arrested for interfering with epidemiological investigations.
The police are expanding investigations into key executives to see if there was any interference with the systematic epidemiological investigation.
Sangju City is considering canceling the corporation following the closure of the Nation Center.
Intercorp, a missions agency that runs the Center for the Nations, claims that these administrative measures were excessive and unequal because they did not cooperate with the quarantine authorities.
In addition, it took legal action against the mayor of Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, by filing an administrative lawsuit and requesting a temporary injunction requesting that the disposition of a ban or closure order be suspended.
