Around 6 pm today, four vehicles, including a bus and a small truck, collided one after another in Jeju City.

Four people died and 30 people were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

It’s been about two hours after the accident, and it’s still busy. You can see the bus in the accident behind me. The work of pulling up the bus is in full swing now.

Broken glass is scattered throughout the accident site here, and as you can see, the guardrails are broken or bent.

The time of the accident is around 6 pm. 516 road. A 4.5-ton truck going downhill was presumed to be overheating the brakes, causing two buses and a 1-ton truck to hit one after another.

At that time, there were about 30 passengers each on the bus. As for the human damages that have been confirmed so far, there were 4 deaths, 3 serious injuries, and 36 minor injuries. Unfortunately, most of them are young passengers who were on the bus.

And now, as the accident and recovery continue, this place has been congested for about an hour.

At around 6 o’clock this evening, a quadruple collision occurred at the intersection at the entrance of Jeju National University. It is estimated that a 4.5 ton truck going down road 516 had an accident due to overheating of the brakes. A 4.5-ton truck hit two buses and a one-ton truck one after another.

In this accident, most of the passengers on the bus were injured. Each of the two buses had 30 people on board.

So far, when we talk about the casualties again, there are 4 dead, 3 seriously injured, and 36 minor injuries. Most of them were passengers on the bus.

You can see it in the back now. A large crane is in the process of hoisting a bus lying on its side due to the impact of an accident.

And now, more than 70 people from the two police and fire departments are searching around the scene of the accident. Searches are ongoing to find additional injuries or passengers who may have been thrown out in the event of an accident.

The accident truck is standing next to me by the road. The impact of the accident was so severe that the front part of the truck was all broken and the shape was unrecognizable.

I am still working on moving accident buses, but it is not easy. Most of the injured people are being transferred to a hospital for treatment.
