In connection with the Hyundai Motor Company’s Jeonju plant, the number of cumulative confirmed cases increased to 14 as employees and their families were additionally confirmed.

New small-scale group infections have also been confirmed, centering on churches and internet cafes.

At Hyundai Motor’s Jeonju Plant, additional employees were confirmed.

This is the result of examining over 200 employees after the first confirmed person came out on the 19th.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to double digits in three days as infected people also emerged in areas where previously confirmed factory employees visited during the Lunar New Year holiday.

One family member of the confirmed employee was tested positive in Hongseong, Chungcheongnam-do, and in Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, his family and acquaintances were confirmed.

Among the confirmed cases in Yeosu, there are also employees working in industrial complexes, so the quarantine authorities are closely watching the possibility of further spread.
