Yes, there were 33 confirmed cases in Gwangju Metropolitan City yesterday.

Of these, 20 are related to Gwangju Antioch Church.

The three also came from unauthorized educational facilities operated by IM Mission, such as Gwangju TCS International School.

In Gwangju, on the 23rd, a week ago, 17 people were positive, and on the 26th, the number of confirmed cases exceeded 100.

So far, about 160 confirmed cases have occurred in both unauthorized educational facilities of IM Mission, and 85 people have been infected in Antioch Church where the fire was transferred.

In recent years, 14 people at a church with a dream have been tested positive, and the infection is spreading from the church to the church.

As the infection spread rapidly around the church, Gwangju Metropolitan City came up with a tough policy.

All churches have banned face-to-face worship by the 10th of next month and have switched to online worship.

Gwangju Metropolitan City has a policy to respond strongly to churches that violate the ban on face-to-face worship, including claims and accusations for the right to indemnify.

In addition, Gwangju TCS International School, which caused group infections, suggested a response to the government level, claiming that it violated the elementary and secondary education law and the infectious disease prevention method.

Daejeon City accused the representatives of IM Mission to the police for blame for causing a large-scale group infection, right?

[기자]

Yes, Daejeon City has accused Missionary Michael Jo of IM Mission and a representative of IEM International School to the police for violating the quarantine regulations.

It was investigated that IEM International School, an unlicensed educational facility, did not adhere to the quarantine regulations, such as worshiping in the chapel during the ban on face-to-face worship.

In addition, social distancing was eased, and even during the period when only 20% of the number of seats allowed worship service, a situation was detected that violated the quarantine rules.

Earlier, Missionary Michael Jo was known to be in self-isolation as the result of the diagnostic test he received on the 24th was confirmed negative.

The representative of IEM International School was confirmed as Corona 19 and transferred to a hospital for treatment.

At the educational facilities under the IM Mission, more than 350 confirmed cases have been found in total, including 170 students at IEM International School.
