Various spring festivals are canceled or non-face-to-face to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

However, as people who visit directly to see the spring flowers continue to come, voices of concern about quarantine are also coming out.

Rape blossoms flutter along the wind to announce the news of spring.

Throughout the square, people who take pictures with rape blossoms in the background stand out.

[이경아 / 서울특별시 강남구 : 3월에 (제주에) 온 건 처음이거든요. 근데 유채꽃 너무 예쁘고 생각했던 것보다 기대 이상이어서 남편하고 왔는데 즐겁게 구경 잘하고 있습니다.]

This area is one of the best photo spots because you can see cherry blossoms and rape blossoms at once.

Last year, the annual rape flower festival was canceled to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but the village has completely plowed the field of rape blossoms as sangchun visitors keep coming.

This year, the festival will be held in a non-face-to-face manner where flower fields are photographed in the village and shown online without offline events.

However, even before the festival started, the square is crowded with people who come to see flowers.

Cherry trees are lined up along the street, and it is a whole farming road where a cherry blossom festival is held every year.

Cherry blossoms burst into blossoms on each tree, but this year’s festival was completely canceled without the end of the corona.

The festival for the second year has been canceled, but the residents are still anxious as people still come here to see the flowers.

[문영숙 / 제주시 삼도동 : 안 보던 사람들이 많아서 저희는 안 오는 게 좋다고 생각합니다. 서로를 위해서. 근데 그게 지켜지지 않잖아요. 이제 좀 있으면 (벚꽃 만개하면) 사람들이 계속 애들 데리고 나오잖아요.]
