Is the spread of BTJ heating center in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do continued?

Yes, it is.

Six more confirmed cases related to BTJ World Center came out from Chungju, North Chungcheong Province.

All of these are related to the New Song Church, the waterside church where you can rest, and parent youth welfare facilities, which are managed by the quarantine authorities in Chungju City.

The number of confirmed cases related to the World Center in Chungju has been counted at 48 so far.

As preaching continues among both adults and adolescents, 84 schools in Chungju have stopped attending school until Friday.

In Daejeon, a person in their 20s who visited the World Center was confirmed.

In addition, four members of a church in Daeseong-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon, where a visitor to the Center of the Nations, who was previously confirmed, was infected.

Of these, three were confirmed by self-isolation and pre-release tests, and the other one developed symptoms during quarantine.

As a result, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the World Center in Daejeon has increased to 84.

While looking at the current situation, some people recalled last year’s Shincheonji Daegu Church situation. What is the BTJ World Center?

BTJ World Center is an educational facility operated in cooperation with a specialized international mission team, a missionary organization called’Intercorp’.

In this place, church members who are interested in missions are gathered and education is usually given for two days and one night.

It is estimated that about 2,500 people gathered between October 9th and 10th last year during the Hangeul Day holiday, and about 500 people gathered in the training schedule from November 27th to 28th.

Not only residents but also members from all over the country gathered.

The number of related confirmed cases so far reached 400.

Of course, it is not directly comparable to the incident at the Shincheonji Daegu Church, which exceeded 5,000 cumulative confirmed cases, but it is not a lightly visible situation in that it is spreading nationwide through individual religious facilities.

For this reason, Sangju City accused the Center of the Nations for violating infectious diseases, and the police sent three people, including the representative of Intercorp, who runs the Center for the Nations, and an education-related executive to the prosecution.

The quarantine authorities also ordered officials from the Center of the Nations to undergo diagnostic tests by Friday, and ordered banning gatherings until further action was taken.

Not only churches, but also hospitals and nursing hospitals have been hearing the news of the spread?

Yes, it is. All 21 new confirmed patients in Jincheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, identified yesterday are Doeun Hospital patients.

The infection was confirmed in the 6th total examination of 195 patients and workers in this hospital.

The cumulative confirmed cases related to Doeun Hospital were counted as 109.

In the Somang Hospital in Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, there were additional confirmed cases, increasing the number of related cases to 126.

Both Doeun Hospital and Somang Hospital were treated at Goesan St. Mary’s Hospital on December 15 last year, and a patient returned after being diagnosed as a group infection was revealed.

Quarantine authorities repeat diagnostic tests every three days on quarantined personnel at these hospitals.

In addition, 13 confirmed cases related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital in Gwangju Metropolitan City were added a day yesterday, making a total of 80.
