Are there continuing confirmed cases related to the BTJ World Center?

[기자]

Yes, it is.

In Chungju, North Chungcheong Province, 5 confirmed patients were added a day yesterday related to the BTJ Universal Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk.

Three of the confirmed cases are the families of the confirmed cases who have been to the Center for the Nations.

Two other confirmed cases were also found to be contacts of confirmed cases related to the Center for the Nations.

With this confirmation, the number of related confirmed cases increased to 57 in Chungju alone.

As confirmed cases related to the Center for the Nations were followed from all over the country, Gwangju and Jeonbuk, etc., issued administrative orders to visitors to undergo corona 19 testing.

The quarantine authorities also closed the facility when the Center for the Nations showed a non-cooperative attitude to the epidemiological investigation.

From noon yesterday, Sangju City, Gyeongbuk, issued an administrative order to close the facility to the Center of the Nations.

The door was temporarily closed until Corona 19 subsides.

During the closing period, a quarantine guard post is installed at the entrance and exit roads to check whether visitors and events are held 24 hours a day.

This measure is because the center did not cooperate with the epidemiological investigation.

When the administrative order was issued yesterday, there was friction, such as resistance from center officials.

Sangju City will continue to review the cancellation of permission to establish a corporation with Gyeongsangbuk-do if it does not cooperate with the epidemiological investigation by the quarantine authorities.
