A temple-related mass infection occurred in Yeongam, Jeollanam-do, and a whole small rural village was quarantined.

The spread of infections related to the BTJ Universal Center continues, but it raises concern as more than a thousand visitors are still not being tested.

An access control line was installed at the entrance to a village in Yeongam, Jeollanam-do.

When the COVID-19 outbreak occurred, movement restrictions were imposed on two villages where 130 people lived together.

The outbreak is believed to have originated in a small temple in another village.

After a confirmed person in Seoul visited the temple, it was investigated that infected believers and others contacted the residents, leading to nth infection.

Infections related to the Yeongam Temple spread to nearby Gangjin.

This is the first time that a corona 19 confirmed person came out in Gangjin.
