Another group infection occurred in a nursing home in Gwangju.

This happened when a nursing care worker was confirmed.

It turned out that the caregiver took care of the patients for two days after symptoms appeared.

On the 15th, a nursing home in Gwangju showed symptoms of Corona 19.

However, on the 21st, 16 people, including nursing care and patients, were confirmed.

One in 10 patients died before the test results were available.

The outbreak occurred in 7 living rooms on the 3rd floor where the nursing home, the first confirmed person, worked.

The confirmed inmates were transferred to a dedicated hospital.

Although they were on the same floor, those who were negatively judged decided to be distributed in nursing homes.

Fortunately, there was no confirmed person in the ward on the 2nd floor, just below.

The quarantine authorities believe that the caregiver has had abnormal symptoms on the body, but took care of the patients.

Gwangju Metropolitan City has narrowed the preemptive inspection cycle for nursing facilities from 4 weeks to 2 weeks.

It also decided to strengthen quarantine management for nursing facilities.
