[전국]7 missing captain found dead on fishing boat… searching for the rest of the crew

On the 29th of last month, the captain of a fishing boat overturned off the coast of Jeju was found dead six days after the accident.

The coast guard is mobilizing not only security ships, but also aircraft, looking for the remaining five crew members.

Marine police rescuers tie a rope to a part of the boat that is submerged in the sea.

The search continues while relying on the flashlight.

On the 29th of last month, we are looking for a missing crew member around a portion of the hull of Myeong Min-ho, which was overturned and sunk.

The sea police scoured the hull and found the body six days after the accident.

As a result of identification, Captain Myeong Min-ho was identified as 56-year-old Kim Mo.

The second missing person was found after the body of a sailor was found on the 31st of last month.

However, the rest of the crew are still missing.

The maritime police mobilized 24 ships, such as naval warships and government ships, as well as guard ships, to conduct a night search.

Seven helicopters and drones were also used to expand the search range to where the missing crew were believed to have been evacuated.

Nearly a thousand people are employed on land to search for missing persons.

The Coast Guard plans to lift parts of the hull found with tugs and cranes.
