While staying at IEM International School, which is an unauthorized educational facility, I was finally tested positive in Seoul.

In Daejeon City, family members and acquaintances contacted by commuting employees were diagnosed, but fortunately, no confirmed cases were found here.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the facility is currently 133, of which 112 are students.

It was investigated that a large hole was made in the quarantine, such as not installing partitions in the dining room, where up to 20 people live in a densely populated room.

The city of Daejeon decided to take a prosecution against the representative of the mission by investigating legal violations such as violations of the quarantine regulations of the facility.

At a church in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, a pastor’s couple and about 30 students were confirmed with Corona 19.

At first, it is known that church students have been confirmed by Corona 19 after visiting an unauthorized educational facility in Daejeon.

However, according to an investigation by the quarantine authorities, 40 people were found to have lived in the Daejeon facility and stayed at the Hongcheon Church on the 16th.

A missionary student called MTS, ranging in age from 20s to 50s.

The facility representative stated that the new students entered the Daejeon educational facility and there was not enough space, so they moved the MTS students to the Hongcheon Church where there is a pastor whom they are familiar with.

The quarantine authorities are conducting an epidemiological investigation with the possibility that some students may have been moved when symptoms emerge.

It is a situation of concern as additional confirmed cases continue to appear in other local unauthorized educational facilities operated by the mission.

The number of related confirmed cases increased to 31 as infected people were also confirmed in childcare facilities operated by confirmed patients.

Six children and six teachers were tested positive.

15 people were also infected at an unauthorized educational facility in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.

There have been reports of confirmed cases from the beginning of this month, but at the time, there was no connection with this outbreak.

Also, at an unauthorized educational facility in Anseong, two students, students and teachers, were tested positive.

There are over 20 educational facilities operated by IM Missions nationwide.

In Daejeon, where the outbreak of collective infection began, other unauthorized educational facilities were identified, and more than 120 members are being diagnosed.
