Let’s start with the news of a confirmed person at IEM International School in Daejeon, an unauthorized educational facility.

Yes, one more person in Seoul was tested positive, and the cumulative confirmed number increased to 133.

Initially known as a student, it was identified as an employee who worked at the facility.

The city of Daejeon is conducting diagnostic tests on family members and acquaintances of employees who commute, but no confirmed cases have been reported among contacts.

It was investigated that a large hole was made in the quarantine in the facility, such as not installing partitions in the dining room, where up to 20 people live in a crowded room.

The city of Daejeon decided to take a prosecution against the representative of the mission by investigating legal violations such as violations of the quarantine regulations of the facility.

The Daejeon Police Agency also announced that it would directly investigate the quarantine violations of the facility.

In the meantime, quarantine authorities are concerned about community infections.

As living and educational facilities are spread across four buildings, there is a high possibility of external access, and confirmed people have stopped by convenience stores or beauty salons.

We are analyzing CCTV screens inside and outside the building to see if there are any outsiders in contact.

We have recommended diagnostic tests to residents who have visited the facility or live nearby.

Investigation of the route of infection is also underway, and we are looking into the connection with the BTJ World Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk.

It is a situation of concern as additional confirmed cases continue to appear in other local unauthorized educational facilities operated by the mission.

There were more than 30 confirmed cases in Gwangju?

[기자]

Yes, it is.

The number of related confirmed cases increased to 31 as infected people were also confirmed in childcare facilities operated by confirmed patients.

Six children and six teachers were tested positive.

15 people were also infected at an unauthorized educational facility in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.

There have been reports of confirmed cases from the beginning of this month, but at the time, there was no connection with this outbreak.

Also, at an unauthorized educational facility in Anseong, two students, students and teachers, were tested positive.

There are over 20 educational facilities operated by IM Missions nationwide.

Other local governments are also conducting extensive inspections on users of educational facilities related to the mission, so the number of related confirmed cases is expected to increase.

As the situation became serious, the mission side posted a post on the homepage stating that it bowed down and apologized as the representative’s name.

He said he could not respond quickly because he thought it could be a cold, and asked all relevant agencies to follow the government policy.
