Yes, yesterday (24th), a bunch of 127 people were confirmed by Corona 19 at an unauthorized educational facility operated by IM Mission in Jung-gu, Daejeon.

It was found that 114 confirmed students came from all over the country.

Six students who had stayed in the boarding facility went home last weekend, of which two were confirmed first in Suncheon and Pohang.

After that, a total survey of all students and staff was conducted.

Among the confirmed cases, about 20 people with symptoms are transferred to a hospital dedicated to infectious diseases, and those with no or mild symptoms are being transferred to the quarantine living facility in Asan, Chungnam.

A negative tester will undergo additional diagnostic tests while in self-isolation.

The unlicensed school used a total of four buildings, including the main building with a chapel and boarding facilities.

Facilities that have been disinfected will be closed for 3 weeks.

The facility representative stated that no one has gone out except for 6 students, but educational facilities are located in four nearby residential areas, so it is possible that unrelated contacts occurred while on the move.

Instead of the regular curriculum, students were eating and sleeping together here, taking classes that correspond to middle and high school.

The headquarters of the mission is located in Jung-gu, Daejeon, and the’IEM International School’ where group infection occurred is located here.

In addition, it was surveyed that 23 unlicensed educational facilities with similar characteristics, such as TCS and CAS, are operated across the country.

The quarantine authorities found that the facilities were related, but operated independently of each other, so there was no student exchange.

However, it was reported that there was a possibility of exchange with faculty and staff, and it was reported that contact information for representatives of 23 facilities nationwide was obtained from the mission representative and delivered to the central countermeasure headquarters.
