A church in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.
On Sunday, when the worship service is held, as the 11 a.m. approaches, church members enter the building one by one.

However, the 20 people allowed under the quarantine rules apply only to exceptional numbers for non-face-to-face worship arrangements.
Moreover, the church has been preaching that face-to-face worship to congregation since the coronavirus outbreak can lower the risk of infection.
[교회 목사 (지난 3월) : 주일이면 뭐가 없어요? 세균이 하나도 없어, 왜 그런 줄 아세요? 하나님의 불이 내게 임하기 때문에 내 손엔 세균이 하나도 없어. 대한민국 교회가 다 문을 닫아도, 우리 교회는 문을 엽니다. (아멘).]
When asked whether the quarantine regulations were violated, the church initially denied that it had been confirmed by the city hall, but later revealed that they were not sure.
[교회 목사 : 비대면 20명. 대성전 본당이 있고 다른 성도들 20명 이렇게 하면 되는 것으로 알고 있어요. (확실하게 시청 답을 받으신 거예요?) 아니죠, 확실한 게 아니라…. 20명, 그러니까 생각해보세요.]
Upon receiving the report, the police notified the local government with the enforcement authority of the violation of the church’s quarantine rules.
