China refrains from reacting to damage to national flag… “Anti-Chinese Emotional Consciousness”

Angry Myanmar youths stood in the middle of the road holding Chinese flags.

The young people holding signs that China is intercepting democracy in Myanmar burned the Chinese flag.

They also shouted protest slogans.

“You should be ashamed!”, “You should be ashamed!”

This is because China opposes sanctions against the Myanmar military, which is bloody suppressing democratic protests.

China has reaffirmed its firm position that the UN Security Council should not intervene.

This principle has become clearer after Wang Yi’s foreign minister held talks with four ASEAN countries.

Instead, ASEAN countries are putting their weight on finding solutions by holding summit meetings.

China has refrained from reacting directly to the case in which the Chinese flag, the Five Star Red Flag, was damaged in Myanmar.

It’s a bit different from what was strongly opposed last month when Chinese factories in Yangon were attacked.

It seems that the intention is not to unnecessarily stimulate the anti-Chinese sentiment of the Myanmar people.

China is wary of the intervention of the United States and Western countries based on democracy, with only the principle stance that the bloodshed in Myanmar should not worsen.
