[자막뉴스] A variation from the UK that says “there is no big difference in fatality rate”, it turns out…

The spread of mutant virus from the Czech Republic and the UK… Hospital saturation
In major European countries, more than a quarter of new cases are infected by mutations in the UK.
“The British variant’lethal rate’ is also much higher than other viruses.”
“30-100% higher fatality rate than other viruses”

Hospitals in the Czech Republic are flooded with COVID-19 patients.

The spread of the British mutant virus has made it even worse.

The same goes for other European countries such as Germany, France and Italy.

One-fourth to one-third of new cases are infected with the UK mutant virus.

The reason that the spread of mutations originating in the UK is strong is because the spreading power is 40-70% higher than that of the existing virus.

However, there was no significant difference in the fatality rate, but studies have shown that even this is not the case.

According to a study by a research team at the University of Exeter, UK, 227 out of a group of infected people of a similar size were infected with a mutant virus from the UK and died.

On the other hand, only 141 patients died from other viruses.

The research team analyzed that the fatality rate of the British mutant virus is 30 to 100% higher than that of other viruses.

Earlier, British health authorities published similar results.

Health experts warned that “the threat of the UK-borne mutant virus, which has a high transmission rate and a high fatality rate, must be taken seriously.”
