“Changdae has a similar part to me. And I think that he is a person who resembles many young people. So I wanted to do better.” I wondered if I would feel it.’ To become a good adult, I wanted to expand the perspective and values of the Changdae’s teens, twenties, and thirties.”

Byeon Yo-han was praised by director Lee Joon-ik, saying, “The pot has burst.” “If the director tells me that, it is the most pleasing word to me,” said Yohan Byun, smiling. In fact, I think the director did it all. I just moved with imagination, body, and things until the end of the work. Thank you so much to the director.”
Along with this, Byeon Yohan said, “When I was on the island, the typhoon came three times. Once I was up for a Seoul event, but there was a typhoon on the island. Even if I texted, I was worried a lot because there was no answer. “The second and third time, I had a lot of fun in the area with the director, Gyeong-gyeong-seonbaenim. It’s been 59 years since Tafuing, but the power of our movie came and went,” he said with satisfaction and made a laugh.
Director Lee Joon-ik’s 14th film’Jassaneobo’ is a scholar who became more curious about the sea than a book after he was exiled to Heuksan. It is a movie about a story.
In this film, Yohan Byeon played the role of Changdae, a young fisherman who devotes himself to studying writing in order to escape the sea and go out of the world. Changdae believes that knowing and practicing Sung Confucianism, which is the governing ideology of the country, is the way for the people, and puts more emphasis on studying writing than catching fish. Changdae, who was keen to avoid Jeong Yak-jeon, a private school criminal who arrived in Heuksan-do, eventually pursued the proposal of’Jung Yak-jeon’ to share each other’s knowledge, and began to think about what truly is for the people and grow.
Byun Yohan, who made a lot of effort both internally and externally to learn all of the changdae, focused on fully understanding and expressing the changing emotion lines of the changdae in and out of the filming. In addition, the best possible way to do this is to meet Jeolla-do people, practice dialect, and receive training for swimming and fish.
‘Jasaneobo’ will be released on the 31st.
