The owner of a chicken store in Hongdae, who was supported by netizens for free chicken offering free chicken to hungry brothers, is known to have recently made donations for underprivileged children and the vulnerable. The store owner added warmth by saying, “I will refuse orders for sponsorship purposes in the future and receive only a warm heart.”
Park Jae-hui, who runs a franchise chicken store in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, announced on the 15th that he has donated 6 million won to the Welfare Policy Division of Mapo-gu, Seoul as a support project.
Regarding this donation, Mr. Park said, “From February 25th, he added 1 million won (own donation) to 3 million won and 2 million won in donations such as non-receipt of change and 3 million won generated from orders placed for sponsorship in the country through the delivery app. “It’s not my donation. Donations made by warmhearted people all over the country,” he said.
He then announced, “I will reject the order for sponsorship in the future and receive only that warm heart.”

The donation seems to have been delivered to the’Dream Tree Growing Partnership Project’ being implemented by Mapo-gu Office. The dream tree-raising alliance project is a project that contributes to life stability by supporting education expenses for children from low-income families who are suffering from difficulties, and can be sponsored from 10,000 won or more.
Mr. Park’s donation is thanks to the continued support of netizens’ ‘Don Chum’ after the story of serving chicken for free to a brother who had difficulty with pockets a year ago.

A handwritten letter from high school student A
The beginning of the talk was a handwritten letter. In February, high school student A sent a letter to the headquarters of Cheolin 7, run by Mr. Park, and expressed his gratitude to Mr. Park, who gave him free chicken a year ago. According to the story, when a younger brother insisted that his younger brother want to eat chicken, he went into a chicken house that he can see with 5,000 won in hand. I asked, “Can I eat it for 5,000 won because it’s a little good,” but wherever I went, I was beaten.
The brothers continued to be rejected so they went to the store in front of the storekeeper Park Jae-hui in Seogyo-dong, about 30 minutes away from the house. At that time, Mr. Park guessed the situation when he saw his younger brother shouting’chicken’ in front of the store and his older brother looking sadly at it. Park, who brought the brothers into the store, offered a chicken set menu and two bottles of cola, and he didn’t accept the 5,000 won from Group A and just sent it.
In the letter, Group A said, “I remember vividly even now, nearly a year after I felt the warmth that I felt in the first place. I also learned that you gave it. I am sincerely grateful,” he wrote.

This story spread through online communities and social media. Impressed netizens started ordering chicken, saying, “That boss should pay off with money.” When too many orders flowed in, Mr. Park finally suspended the business.
Mr. Park, who delivered the donation on the 15th, announced, “I will politely refuse any further sponsorship orders.” Mr. Park said, “Because (providing chicken to my brother) was not what I was hoping for a price, the interest and love I am receiving now is frankly scared and feels a great burden. I will be the owner of a real chicken house. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do a good job on your behalf.”

The netizens who heard the news are continuing their support message again. Netizens are posting thank-you greetings on Mr. Park’s Instagram such as “The boss still has less money”, “Thank you for making me feel the affection of people in a desolate world”, “It’s a local area, but I’ll stop by to get some money” .
Meanwhile, it is known that Park and the brother who served chicken have not yet met. Park said, “(Because I don’t know the contact information), I can only wait for the call to arrive. I would like to see you again if I allow someday.”
