In the case of international oil prices this week (22-25), Dubai oil, which is based on crude oil imported into Korea, recorded 62.4 dollars per barrel, down 3.4 dollars from the previous week. The fluctuations in international oil prices are usually reflected in the prices of domestic gas stations after two weeks.
The Korea Petroleum Corporation analyzed that “the decline was due to rising tensions between the United States and China related to human rights violations, a strong dollar index, strengthening movement restrictions in Europe due to new corona 19 confirmation, and an increase in the number of US oil rigs.”
In addition, the average selling price of diesel at domestic gas stations was 1329.0 won per liter, up 12.2 won from the previous week.
This week’s highest priced brand was GS Caltex, with a diesel sales price of 1338.0 won per liter, and the lowest priced brand at an affordable gas station, with a diesel sales price of 1297.2 won per liter.
