According to the city of Gwangju on the 3rd, there were 60 confirmed cases related to Hyojeong Nursing Hospital from the previous day to 8 am on the day.

On the first day, 7 workers, including 1 nursing care worker, 1 nurse, and 5 staff, were confirmed as confirmed, and 53 hospitalized patients the next day were confirmed one after another.

In particular, on this day alone, 53 confirmed cases exceeded 39 on August 26, which was the record for the previous battle.

The total test results for Hyojeong Nursing Hospital with 293 inpatients and 152 workers were counted as 60 positive, 375 negative, and 10 in progress.

This means that there are up to 10 potential confirmed cases with the possibility of further infection in the hospital.

The problem is usually the possibility of nth infection from confirmed workers rather than inpatients with discomfort.

Of course, in the case of confirmed hospitalized patients who are vulnerable to the virus, treatment and management are important in the future.

There was a case where the nth infection spread to Jin Nursing Hospitals, saunas, and acquaintances due to a serial infection related to the Evergreen Nursing Home that already occurred last month. Starting with a visit to the sauna of a nursing home caregiver, daily infections spread out of control and rapidly, so far 63 people (1 more on 2nd) have been confirmed.

As a preemptive response, the quarantine authorities are inspecting and inspecting high-risk facilities such as nursing hospitals every other week.

Hyojeong Nursing Hospital also received negative judgments from all employees in the preliminary examination of high-risk facilities that were conducted three times earlier.

In less than a month between the 7th of last month, when the 3rd test, the most recent test, and the day before the case of confirmed cases, 60 confirmed cases came out.

In addition, as the inpatients in the hospital room are the majority of these confirmed cases, the possibility of their infection being workers such as nursing care workers and nurses weighs on. The quarantine authorities have yet to explain this.

The quarantine authorities are in the position to take additional measures after undergoing an on-site risk assessment for Hyojeong Nursing Hospital.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Gwangju increased to 1190.
