The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has unveiled a new video of the image rover’Personality’ when it landed on Mars. The vivid feeling of landing on Mars while boarding the Perversance is impressive.

The video, released on Twitter, shows the violent operation of Perseverance and landing with a sonic parachute attached. While Perservance descended to Mars, the navigation system helped to find the most suitable landing point through several photos. The video was edited into a video so that the photos taken in real time to find the landing point can be viewed at a glance.

NASA unveiled the video and said it was “the actual image that the Perseverance used to land.” “It was a way for Perseverance to quickly determine direction and find the safest landing point in the last three minutes of touching down Mars.” He added, “I knew that in order to land safely through the Mars exploration mission, there must be no slopes or rocks.”

Previously, NASA revealed on the 8th that Perservance is checking the operation of a robotic arm on the surface of Mars. The robotic arm, about 1.2m long, is mainly used to find traces of ancient microbes on Mars. Compared to the human body, there are joints corresponding to shoulders, elbows, and wrists, so they can move freely.

Perseverance will travel 25 kilometers over two years to find traces of life billions of years ago, including collecting soil and rocks on Mars.
