The government joint investigation team, which is investigating allegations of speculation in eight regions, including the third new city, said that 23 suspected cases of speculation were identified in the second survey of local governments such as Gwangmyeong and Siheung, as well as local public enterprises.

Choi Chang-won, the first deputy chief of the Government Joint Investigation Group, announced the results of the second survey on the study center in charge of local government development and all employees of local public corporations at 2:30 pm on the 19th.

As a result of conducting an investigation of 8,653 people who submitted the agreement, the joint investigation team revealed that there were 28 land traders in the 3rd new town district and adjacent and contiguous areas.

Of these, 23 were the subject of investigation.

Of the 23 people caught, 18 were local government officials, 10 in Gwangmyeong, 4 in Ansan, 3 in Siheung, and 1 in Hanam.

Five local public corporation employees were found.

Each of them is Bucheon City Corporation 2, Gyeonggi City Corporation 1, Gwacheon City Corporation 1, Ansan City Corporation 1 person.

The joint group said that all of the land they owned were 32 lots, and by land category, 19 lots for farmland, 2 lots for forest fields, and 11 lots for other lands and hybrids.

There have also been some cases where one person owns several parcels or many shared land and bought them.

It was explained that 18 of the 32 parcels were dealt within 2 years of the public announcement date.

The joint group explains that 5 people who are not included in the investigation request are presumed to be gifts between their families.

Accordingly, it was decided to transfer the data on them to the joint government special investigation headquarters as a reference material for the investigation.

In the second survey, the joint group also revealed that 237 housing transactions were confirmed in the existing urban areas adjacent to the 3rd new town development district in addition to earthenware.

Most housing transactions require detailed investigations into apartments and villas of local governments or local public corporations adjacent to each district, and will be transferred to the Special Investigation Headquarters as an investigation reference.

On the other hand, out of the total 8780 people, 8,653 people who submitted personal information consent forms by March 16th were counted.

There are 127 people who have not submitted the consent form, and the joint group will notify the list of these to the Special Investigation Division.

However, this survey was limited to employees of local governments and local public corporations.

The details of land transactions under the spouse and immediate survivors were not included, but the union explained that the investigation would be conducted using land transaction details in the special edition.
