◆ FTC approves establishment of Uber-Tmap Mobility joint venture

Qualcomm announced on the 10th the Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF system, a 4th generation 5G modem-RF solution.

This communication modem is the first 3GPP Release 16 based modem-RF system supporting 10 Gigabit 5G speed. Currently, it is being shipped as a prototype to manufacturers. It is designed to support the fastest 5G speeds available with wireless performance similar to those of current optical cables.

The Snapdragon X65 and Snapdragon X62 are currently shipping prototypes to customers. Commercial devices based on modem-RF solutions are expected to be released later this year.

◆ Global dating app’Tinder’ acquired by 2nd trillion Korean IT startups

Global dating app’Tinder’ will take over HyperConnect, a Korean IT startup. HyperConnect is operating a global video messenger’Azar’ in 230 countries around the world.

HyperConnect announced on the 10th that it has agreed to acquire a 100% stake in the US NASDAQ-listed Match Group for $1.75 billion (about KRW 1.93 trillion). The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year, and HyperConnect will continue its independent management system.

◆ S1·ADT Caps·KT Telecop challenge physical security industry’non-face-to-face’

◆OGN moves to close e-sports stadiums… From last December
