To become an eco-friendly energy company that leads future energy

New Year 2021 (辛丑年) The new year has dawned.

All of the past year, which was frenetic due to Corona 19, etc., has suffered a lot.

This year, we must overcome this and make a new leap forward.

Currently, our energy industry is in an era of paradigm shift.

Not only is the transition to sustainable energy supply such as expansion of new and renewable energy including solar power, but also energy consumption is changing with the introduction of new technologies such as IoT (Internet of Things) and ICT (Information Communication Technology).

With this trend, the government declared the’Carbon Neutral 2050 Vision’.

Therefore, we are actively responding to government policies, taking the lead in the transition to a sustainable energy supply system and making new attempts for’energy independence in Seoul’.

First, we will put all our efforts into making the promotion of the Southwest Group Energy Project our top priority. We plan to expand heat supply for safe and comfortable district heating.

In particular, we will make every effort to minimize the emission of air pollutants by reinforcing our own management standards for nitrogen oxides.

Second, we plan to put more effort into the supply of eco-friendly distributed energy, from shared solar business such as the Sunlight Happy Power Plant, to the supply of solar mini-power plants, the creation of a new solar technology demonstration complex, and the hydrogen and waste energy business.

I think this year is the time to show these specific achievements.

These projects will become a model for the Seoul-style Green New Deal project that encompasses sunlight (solar power), wind (wind power), water (hydrogen), and air (reduction of greenhouse gas).

Third, as a public energy company, we will strive to supply safe and clean energy to improve the quality of life for citizens.

We intend to completely repair collective energy facilities, comply with the environmental regulations set by the state, and provide a happy energy source for 10 million Seoul citizens.

Finally, I expect that the media will keep the mission and values ​​of the media with fairer and more truthful reporting so that the energy industry can develop without being shaken.
