May this year become a hydrogen powerhouse in solidarity with industry, media, and regions

[이투뉴스] Dear fellow workers in the gas and energy industry, The year of 2020, when the world was cluttered and difficult due to Corona 19, has passed and the new year of 2021 has dawned.

As of the end of November 2020, thanks to the thorough vocation of the gas industry and the public’s self-inspection, even in environments where it is difficult to make gas safety a daily life due to the long rainy season last year, typhoons, and difficulties in face-to-face safety inspections due to Corona 19. Gas accidents decreased by 11.7% compared to the same period last year.

I am deeply grateful to the gas industry and the people who did their best in their respective seats for the day and night gas safety.

This year, KDHC is trying to get closer to public safety and a global hydrogen society with’Leading Role in Hydrogen Safety’,’New Normal Gas Safety Management’, and’Creating Social Value Based on Gas Safety’.

At the same time as achieving industrial development, we constantly faced the challenge of changing the energy paradigm at the level of advanced countries, and has grown from a resource-poor country to an energy powerhouse. I grabbed it.

This remarkable growth is due to the efforts of the industry who have been working silently in the field. KDHC will strengthen cooperation and solidarity with the industry and local communities to advance toward new goals such as preoccupying the global hydrogen safety market led by Korea and advanced gas safety management from an important turning point of’decoking carbon neutral’.

In addition, we will listen to the difficulties of the industry with E2News, a journalist specializing in environment and energy, and consider ways to coexist. We ask for your sound criticism and encouragement, as well as playing a strong bridge between the industry and construction in 2021.
