There are only 200 days left until the new opening day of the Tokyo Olympics, which has been postponed by one year since Corona 19
The IOC and the Japanese government are in a position to hold it as scheduled, but amid the 3rd pandemic, even in Japan, the homework to be solved, such as preliminary rounds for each event, is truly’mountain over mountain’.

IOC Chairman Thomas Bach expressed his willingness to hold the Tokyo Olympics this summer in a New Year message.
Japan’s Prime Minister Suga was once again confident in hosting the success of the Tokyo Olympics while announcing the corona 19 vaccination plan.
However, the day immediately following this conference, the first mutant virus patient appeared in Japan, and the number of new confirmed cases in the last week over 3,000 a day is under consideration for the declaration of an emergency.
Public opinion in Japan is also skeptical about hosting the Olympics as time goes by.
In a recent poll, 63% of Japanese citizens said they should cancel or postpone the Olympics scheduled for July.
Negative voices are growing even inside Japan, but young people around the world are still unable to give up their preparations for the Olympic qualifiers, which are only half played.
Vaccination has begun, and the decision to cancel the Olympics is not easy, even because of economic losses both in the IOC and in Japan.
The remaining period until the start of the competition is 200 days.
There are a lot of tasks that the IOC and Tokyo have to solve, such as the Olympic spectator limit and the establishment of a medical system, amid fears whether qualifying matches for each sport will be possible in all parts of the world where Corona still remains.
