The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that 967 new cases of coronavirus infection (Corona 19) occurred in Korea as of 0:00 on the 31st. Three digits were recorded in three days.
The cumulative confirmed cases this year also exceeded 60,000. Of the 967 new confirmed cases, 940 are local and 27 are overseas. This is a decrease of 83 people from 1050 the previous day.
Of the confirmed cases by region excluding overseas inflows, 643 people in the metropolitan area (365 in Seoul, 219 in Gyeonggi, and 59 in Incheon) accounted for 68.4% of the total.
Non-capital area: Busan 72, Gangwon 36, Ulsan 35, Daegu 32, Chungbuk 22, Gyeongbuk 22, Gyeongnam 22, Chungnam 17, Jeonbuk 11, Jeju 9, Gwangju 8, Daejeon 6 , Followed by Jeonnam 5 people. There were no confirmed cases of local outbreaks in Sejong.
