At 1:54 am on the 1st, a fire broke out at Namhae Hospital, Namhae-eup, Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam.

As the smoke went up to the third floor above the ground, 105 people, including 89 hospital patients and 16 medical staff, were evacuated from the rooftop or building, and fortunately, no deaths occurred.

Thirteen out of 87 hospitalized patients inhale smoke and are being transported to nearby Sacheon-si Samcheonpo Seoul Hospital, but it is known that there is no major impact on their lives.

When the fire broke out, the fire department reported that 57 out of 89 hospitalized patients were evacuated by using the nearby Namhae Hospital funeral home as a temporary shelter, and 32 people including 13 who inhaled smoke were transferred to other hospitals.

The fire department, who was hospitalized on the second floor of this hospital after receiving a fire report that smoke was coming up from the lower floors, mobilized 235 firefighters and 43 equipment to extinguish the fire, and set the initial fire at 3:16 am this morning. It has completely evolved around 6:16.
