From August 2014 when Shim was a sophomore in high school to December 2017, just before the opening of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Cho accused him of sexual assault or forcibly harassing him 30 times in seven locations, including Taereung and Jincheon athletes’ villages and the ice rink of Korea Sports University.
