In the area where the confirmed cases were found, 265 were in the metropolitan area, including 141 in Seoul, 109 in Gyeonggi, and 15 in Incheon.

In the non-capital area, there were 11 people in Daegu, 10 people in Gwangju, 8 people in each of Busan and Chungnam, 6 people in Daejeon, 5 people in Gangwon, 4 people in Jeonnam and Gyeongnam, 2 people in Jeju, and 1 in each of Sejong, Chungbuk, and Gyeongbuk. There were a total of 61 confirmed cases in the non-metropolitan area.

In the case of major infections, large and small outbreaks continued in everyday spaces such as homes, saunas, churches, and welfare centers.

The previous day in Gyeonggi-do, 7 people were newly tested positive for a sauna located in Dongan-gu, Anyang City.

In addition, in Gwangju City, four members of the family of pastors of small Western churches were confirmed, and infections related to the adult game room and Gwangju TCS International School under IM Mission were also confirmed.

In Daejeon, the number of confirmed cases related to the Administrative Welfare Center in Busa-dong, Jung-gu increased by eight, and in Chungnam, six additional infections were confirmed in relation to a family member in Cheongyang-gun.

In addition, the scale of infections in existing outbreak cases such as a sauna in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (cumulative 27), Hanyang University Hospital in Seongdong-gu, Seoul (80), Antioch Church in Seo-gu, Gwangju (130), and the anti-union union in Seo-gu, Busan (51) have also increased.

The number of confirmed overseas inflows was 46, up 19 from the previous day (27).
