There were 524 new patients with novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19). It has been running 500 people for three consecutive days.

The Central Defense Response Headquarters announced that as of 0 o’clock on the day, 524 new cases of Corona 19 occurred in Korea. This is a decrease of 38 people from 562 the previous day. The cumulative confirmed number is 7728.

The number of deaths increased by 10 to a cumulative record of 1195. The lethality rate is 1.69%.

The number of new confirmed cases from 600 to 800 at the beginning of this month fell to the mid-400 level on the 11th (451) and has recently increased slightly to 500. The third pandemic has gradually turned to a decline in the new year, but some analyzes say the rate of decline has been slow.

There were 496 cases of local outbreaks and 28 foreign inflows. There were 317 confirmed cases in the metropolitan area (162 in Gyeonggi, 131 in Seoul, and 24 in Incheon), accounting for 63.9% of the total.

The number of new confirmed patients this month was 1027 → 820 → 657 → 1020 → 714 → 838 → 869 → 674 → 641 → 664 → 451 → 537 → 562 → 524 per day. Except for two days a week, all were below 1000.
