Nexon invited users of’Mabinogi’, one of its flagship games, to explain the recent controversy over the item probability for more than 14 hours, but it could not calm the controversy. Many of the questions were answered by repeating the answers such as “I will consider” and “I will review”, and even the evaluation that it only aroused users’ anger comes out.

According to the industry on the 14th, Nexon held a meeting in which Mabinogi users were invited to the Nexon Korea office in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and communicated directly. From the user side, five representatives attended, and from the Nexon side, four people, including Min Kyung-hoon, director Mabinogi, attended. This round-table conference was held as a’marathon debate’ over 14 hours and 30 minutes, starting at 2 pm on the 13th and at 4:30 am the next day. It was broadcast live and tens of thousands of people watched it in real time.

Nexon announced that it will further reveal the probability of Mabinogi probability items within this month through this meeting. There was also a promise to have a system that allows users to monitor the probability in real time. Mabinogi users doubted whether the probability of obtaining a probability item would vary depending on the situation at that time, but the Mabinogi management team clearly drew a line that “it does not exist” for the’variation probability’. Users commented on the video related to the conference on YouTube, “I didn’t know what they prepared, even though they gave me a question in advance”, “I don’t see the sincerity that the developers love and love their games”, “March 14, 2021 Mabinogi fell asleep here.”

The meeting lasted for a long time, but in the end, only half of the questions that the user representatives had prepared in advance were digested. Nexon announced that it will announce the unanswered content out of 288 questions next week through the website.
