Park Jeong-eun (44), the head of the Korean Women’s Basketball Federation (WKBL), was appointed as the 2nd command tower of BNK in Busan for women’s professional basketball.

On the 18th, BNK announced the news by relaying the inauguration ceremony of Park’s new manager through the club’s YouTube channel. After leaving Dongju Girls’ High School and Kyung Hee University, director Park spent his active career at Samsung Life Insurance and received a lot of love under the nickname’Luxury Forward.

The Olympics were held in Atlanta in 1996, Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004, and Beijing in 2008. He won the silver medal at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan and 2010 in Guangzhou, and served as a coach at Samsung Life Insurance until 2016 after retiring in 2013. Starting with the head of the WKBL game management department in 2018, he transformed into a basketball administrator.

Founded in 2019, BNK played two seasons under Yoo Young-joo (50), and after finishing the 2020-21 seasons at the bottom, they came to the new command tower. In addition, BNK retained coach Byun Yeon-ha (41), who joined from last season, and recruited coach Kim Yeon-ha (40), who played with Samsung Life Insurance, and made up all of the coaching staff for three consecutive seasons after its inception.

At the inauguration ceremony, Director Park said, “It’s an honor to call my hometown Busan as a director.”
