Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur), who scored two assists against Burnley, received the second highest rating on the team after Garrus Bale, who scored two goals and one assist.

Son Heung-min jumped full-time at home against Burnley in the 26th round of the English Professional Football Premier League (EPL), who kicked off the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on the 28th and recorded 2 assists. Tottenham escaped from their 2nd straight victory after winning 4-0 with consecutive goals from Gareth Bale, Harry Kane and Lucas Mora.

Both of Bale’s goals were delivered from Son Heung-min’s toe, including the winning goal in the first two minutes. Son Heung-min’s help this season has increased to 15 in a total of 8 regular leagues and official games. The season’s attack points were 33, including 13 goals in the regular league (18 goals in the official game). He also scored three consecutive attack points (2 goals and 3 assists) in the last three consecutive matches against Burnley, including the 70m Wonder Goal in December 2019, which won the FIFA Pushka Award.

Football statistics expert Whoscore.com gave Son Heung-min a rating of 8.9. It was the second highest on the team after Bale, who received 9.6, followed by Kane with 8.7 points. On the other hand, in the Budweiser King of the Match (KOTM) vote, Son Heung-min received 55.3%, more than half of the 23,729 votes. Bale came in second with 39.3%, while Kane and Mora were not in the top 10. Nick Pope Burnley was third with 2.4%.

Tottenham broke the balance by finishing the veil following Son Heung-min’s’Courier Cross’ within two minutes of the game. The ball that Son Heung-min pricked from the left side of the opponent through the defenders exquisitely shook the net with his right foot as the veil ran in front of the goal. Son Heung-min made’K’ and Veil made’W’. It gave birth to an interpretation that it was a symbol of Korea and Wales, their respective countries. For Son Heung-min, it was a kind of verse 3/1 ceremony.

Mora’s shot, who received a pass from Son Heung-min in the 10th minute of the first half, was blocked by the goalkeeper, but an additional goal was scored 5 minutes later. After Tottenham’s side blocked Burnley’s attack, Bale sent the ball forward at once, and Kane drove to the left in the penalty area and opened the goal with a powerful right-footed shot.

Son Heung-min delivered the ball to Bale, who was searching for space in the 26th minute of the first half, but Bale’s shooting rose high. Tottenham escaped one more step with Mora’s goal in the 31st minute. A cross from Sergio Regilon’s left flank rubbed the opponent’s defender’s head and connected to Mora in front of the goal, and Mora decided with his left foot.

In the 10th minute of the second half, Son Heung-min and Veil’s breathing shined again. As Son Heung-min drove the ball from the left midfield, he gathered the Burnley defense and handed it over to Bale, who was alone on the right side of the penalty area, and Bale put it in the corner opposite the goal with a left footed shot.

Tottenham then removed Mora and Veil in turn, and put Eric Lamela and Deli Ali in order to arrange the physical strength of the players. Son Heung-min, who saved his shot, shot a conversion shot in the 28th minute of the second half. Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope threw the ball to the left of the penalty area and rolled it up with his right foot. In the 38th minute of the second half, Kane’s through pass was connected to Son Heung-min, who was inundated with the right side of the penalty, but Son Heung-min’s right footed shot went far beyond the goal.
