[서울신문] Actor Evan Rachel Wood “Marilyn Manson, grooming sexual violence”

Evan Rachel Wood, who is famous for the heroine of the American drama’Westworld’, has designated former lover Marilyn Manson as a rape perpetrator.

According to Hollywood reports, Wood posted a post on Instagram on the 1st (local time), saying, “The name of the person who abused me is Brian Warner. He is also known as Marilan Manson.”

Wood claimed to have been groomed by Manson since he was a teenager, and that he had been terribly abused for years.

“I was brainwashed and manipulated to obey Manson,” he said. “I have lived in fear of retaliation, slander, and intimidation.”

Wood referred to Manson as a “dangerous man,” and explained that he had disclosed that he was a sexual assaulter in an effort to prevent ruining more people’s lives.

He also criticized “many industries are accepting Manson.”

Born in 1987, Wood met Manson, who was 36 at the age of 18, and had a brief relationship around 2010.

Since then, Wood has been active in protecting victims of sexual and domestic violence.

Manson has been accused of committing sex crimes since 2011 to the police.

It was not specified what sexual crimes he committed, and at the time, the Los Angeles Prosecutors’ Office in Los Angeles, California, dismissed them for expiration of the statute and lack of evidence.

Bannertifair said that after Wood’s revelation, at least four women have posted articles alleging that they have been sexually assaulted and emotionally abused by Manson.

Wood, who debuted as a child in 1994, gained popularity as the protagonist of the 2016 HBO drama’West World’.

Manson was called’The Lord of Shock Rock’, who revived the popular shock rock in the 1970s, and gained popularity and controversy at the same time with his bizarre visuals and unconventional sound and performance.
