The scene of recycling side dishes such as kkakdugi at a pork soup restaurant in Busan was captured during a live broadcast by an internet broadcaster (BJ), which is causing controversy.

The BJ conducted a broadcast to help his relatives work at a restaurant and donate twice the amount of sales on the day, but rather, it became a form of apologizing to viewers.

BJ Pie, who is active on YouTube and Afreeca TV, held a donation broadcast at a pork soup restaurant in Busan on the 7th. It was a broadcast planned to help people in the restaurant where the aunt works and to use twice the sales of the restaurant that day to help those suffering from Corona 19.

Participants who will come to the restaurant were also invited in advance, and his fans visited the restaurant to participate. BJ Pie helped bring food to the table with another BJ.

But on the same day, a camera followed the busy scene of the restaurant and a strange scene was caught. The camera caught a scene of a restaurant employee taking Kkakdugi left behind by a customer and pouring it back into a large bowl of Kkakdugi. While one employee was taking the Kkakdugi left over from the customer, another employee was sending it to the table with new Kkakdugi from the same bowl.

Although the camera hurried to another place, many viewers watched the scene and pointed out the situation of’reusing side dishes’.

Viewers visited the internet page of the soup restaurant and commented on criticism.

At the end of the broadcast, BJ Pie said, “I will talk more with my aunt about this issue,” with a confused expression. “I can’t think of how to be wise to deal with it. I apologize.”

The staff who took the leftovers of Kkakdugi also said, “It was because I didn’t know well when I came to work today for the first time. I apologized.” Another employee said, “I will not do that next time. I’m sorry,” he bowed his head.

Afterwards, BJ Pie posted a post on her African TV page and said, “As the organizer, I sincerely apologize for the problem of food reuse. I should have checked it thoroughly, but I think I did it inexperienced.”

He added, “It is a content that is donated for a good purpose, so many people visited and participated in it, but it seems that I was disappointed, so I feel heavy.”

In addition, he added that the donation promised in advance will proceed immediately in the future.

BJ Pie has 260,000 subscribers on YouTube and has been awarded the 2020 BJ Awards on Africa TV.
