[사회]Yoo Seung-jun “What the hell is my crime… I was hunted as a witch” appeals again

Singer Yoo Seung-jun (Steve Yu) demanded an apology from the government, who refused to enter the country, saying that he did not break the law regarding the issue of military service.

On the 9th, Yoo Seung-jun posted a video claiming this on his YouTube channel again.

Last month, he uploaded videos appealing for resentment after Kim Byeong-ju, a Democratic Party member of the Democratic Party, proposed the Five Acts to Prevent Military Service Evasion, which prevents attempts to evade military service by changing nationality.

Called the so-called’Yoo Seung-jun Prevention Act’, this bill disallows the recovery of the nationality of men who gave up Korean nationality without fulfilling their military service obligations, and allowed the man to enter the country.

In response, Seung-joon Yoo said, “The nature of my issue is fairness and equity,” and said, “Acquisition of citizenship is regarded as evasion of military service, so the government unilaterally prevented the entry of a single individual into the country for 19 years without considering the fair judgment of the law or due process. Is it just and legal to block?” he asked.

He argued, “If I really did something illegal, I should be paid a decent price. But even though there was no offense, the government, especially the Ministry of Justice, will apologize and take responsibility for violating one human rights over a long period of 19 years.” .

Yoo Seung-jun emphasized, “I am not a person who committed a crime that deserves deportation.” “The Korean government said, “I did not do anything illegal, but I am still an evader of military service who violated the Military Service Act. I am an exempt from military service by acquiring US citizenship, not a conscientious objector. What the hell is my crime?”

The Ministry of Justice criticized the Ministry of Justice, saying, “What on earth is the Ministry of Justice, which still prohibits entry?”

Yoo Seung-joon said, “If you look at the data from the Military Manpower Administration, the average annual average of 3,600 to 4,000 people who abandon their nationality and the duty of military service lapse. However, that one person in the history of the Republic of Korea who was banned from entering the country because the acquisition of US citizenship was considered evasion of military service. Appealed.

Accordingly, he claimed that he was currently being witch-hunted. Yoo Seung-joon raised his voice, saying, “It is a strategy to make the anger poured out on a celebrity when you are feeling skeptical about an unfair society and the justice disappears. Don’t be instigated.”

Regarding the situation of obtaining US citizenship, he said, “Of course I had to keep my promise with the fans (to join the army). I disappointed you.” But there was a personal situation. I chose my family over the promise with everyone. I have never thought of it as immoral.”

Finally, Yoo Seung-jun said, “It is not enough to express all the words that I have endured in a short video. I will continue to solve the stories in my heart one by one.”
